Harlequin Performing Arts Academy So you’ve always wanted to know what it’s like to be a West End or Broadway performer? Missed your chance to be on stage? Ever tried performing in front of an audience? Join us to explore your creative side in an energetic environment in the beautiful surroundings of the Caribbean. All masterclass workshops will be run by West End and Broadway professionals to give budding performers the chance to take part in a fun filled learning experience using songs from popular musicals. The masterclass workshops will comprise 3 hour lessons over 4 days and will incorporate vocal, acting and movement coaching to give an overview of all the requirements needed to perform on the West End or Broadway stage for children aged 10 yrs to 14 yrs and adults 15 yrs +. Academy participants will have the opportunity to take part in a showcase performance at the resort on the final day of the masterclass workshop. No previous experience is necessary. Buccament Bay Resort in St Vincent & The Grenadines will feature the first Harlequin Performing Arts Academy. Opening in April 2011, the Harlequin Performing Arts Academy will offer a variety of masterclass workshops. |
